I live near Austin, TX and I help run Dream Job, LLC with my husband Kyle McKiou. Most of the work here isn’t reflective of that, though. This site is mostly a collection of work from freelance and agency projects.
I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Masters Degree in evolutionary genomics. But after some agony, I got real with myself and realized my dream was to have a career as a creative.
So I spent hundreds of hours teaching myself, building a portfolio and doing freelance work. And with Kyle’s expert job-search guidance, I eventually got my first job at a creative agency in Chicago without a design degree.
And so, I became a professional creative with a hybrid background. A design mongrel of sorts. And I can’t wait to see what’s next.
